I’m doing a really crappy job of updating my blog! I have been so busy lately. I started my new job in September and now 3 months later I am finally getting ready to actually start working my own shift. I will be working Saturday and Sunday nights from 7 pm to 7 am. The last two weeks I worked Monday through Friday 11 pm to 7 am. I’m not going to lie, it was really hard. I thought it would be a lot easier. It is such a crazy schedule and it is impossible to catch up on sleep. But I have to do what I have to do for my family :)
I cannot believe that Christmas is 4 nights away. This entire year has just flown by! I went to Walmart this morning at 5 am and finished my Christmas shopping. I’m not buying or wrapping another gift and I’m thrilled. This year we are having Christmas Eve at Judy & Rick’s house around 3 pm. Then I’m going to stay the night at my Dads house because Corey has to work 3rd shift. He has to go to work Christmas Eve at noon and then work all the way until 3 am Christmas morning. He will be exhausted. It sucks but it’s what he had to do to get Christmas off. We will be opening gifts in the morning at Dads house and in the evening we are going to Debby’s (dads girlfriend) house for dinner. It should be nice.Michael is officially 1/2 done with his first year of school. It has gone so fast. He really likes it. I’m so happy he enjoys it. His teacher is fantastic. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher for him. He really looks forward to Gym and Music. He is learning tons of Spanish and beginning to learn how to read!
Monday morning Michael came walking out of his bedroom while I was sitting in the middle of the living room wrapping a bunch of presents. He helped me a bit and then out of no where says hey mom my tooth fell out yesterday. I was like what!?! Apparently in the night his tooth came out and he just left it in his bed. He didn’t even care! It was his first tooth and he acted like it was no big deal at all. He is so crazy! I tried to take a picture of his missing tooth and Aiden really wanted to take the picture too… He’s so goofy!
